The Ohio legislature has recognized the OPBC and provided funds administered by the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) to initiate a comprehensive, cooperative research program across the state. These funds are administered through a competitive grants program to encourage the assembly and development of the strongest and most relevant inter-university and interdisciplinary teams.

We are targeting sixteen areas for specific exploration.
