MCIC

I am responsible for managing and coordinating the use of the Molecular and Cellular Imaging Center at the OARDC. The MCIC is a shared resource facility, which houses an array of expensive instruments and provides the technical help and necessary expertise to use the new technologies effectively. Currently the Center houses two transmission electron microscopes, a scanning electron microscope equipped with EDAX, a confocal microscope, equipment for digital imaging and an automated DNA sequencer.

Research Interests

I am also a member of the multidisciplinary maize virus research program at the OARDC in Wooster. My research concerns the molecular mechanisms of viral pathogenesis and mechanisms of host resistance in maize.
